History is for the Dogs

We posted a piece a while back about all the reasons to bring your pup to DC.  We just came across one more reason, and it’s the best so far! Now through June 28th, Mount Vernon is hosting a dog walking tour on Saturday mornings. You and your pooch can learn about history while hiking together in the former home of George Washington himself. If you go, make sure to send us pictures, and be on the lookout for the DC Insider Tours mascots Kaylee and Oliver, who will certainly be making an appearance this summer!
